What we don’t do
This industry has more people selling the business of real estate photography than doing it. Here is what we refuse to sell you, so you can hold us to it.
No coaching, masterminds or group programs
We are not a coaching company and we are not going to become one. We run a real estate media company; that is the job. Everything we know that is worth writing down is written down on this site for free, and there is no higher tier where the real answer lives.
No “book a call”
There is no application, no discovery call, no strategy session and no phone number that routes to a closer.
No income claims
We will not show you a revenue screenshot, tell you what our students make, or put a monthly figure in a headline. Nobody can promise you an outcome in a business with this much variance, and the people who do are selling the promise rather than the business.
No certification or badges
There is no accrediting body for real estate photography and inventing one would just be us claiming an authority nobody granted. We are not going to vouch for strangers’ work.
No gear affiliate links
Not on the reviews, not in the guides, and specifically not on the camera report. That page is worth something precisely because it is the one measurement in a category full of commissioned opinions. A single affiliate link would forfeit that permanently, for a few dollars.
No account walls on the free material
The course, the guides and the tools are public. Signing in should only ever buy you saved state, never access. We had this wrong for a long time and we are still undoing it — the shoot pricing calculator is still stuck behind the old login and has not been moved out yet.
What we do sell
Photo editing, in credit packs, at $0.50 an image. That is the whole business model of this site. It means our revenue goes up when a working photographer’s volume goes up — which is why we can afford to publish material that makes you faster, and why you should be suspicious of anyone whose revenue depends on a steady supply of beginners instead.
We are not always the cheapest option and our own calculator will tell you when we are not. We also do not have a public pricing page yet, which means our own price is currently the one number on this site you cannot check the way we ask you to check everyone else’s. That is a fair thing to hold against us until it is fixed.
