Guys, so in this video I'm going to give you a little bit of insight into the real estate photography business. Now over the last several years real estate photography has become increasingly popular because many home buyers are identifying properties that they want to look at based on the pictures that they see of the property online. Smart real estate agents know the importance of having good photos taken of their listings and having good pictures taken of their listings will help their listings stand out online so that they get more showings, more offers and ultimately sell their listings faster and potentially for more money. Now, let's go over a few real estate photography industry
expectations. With regards to how fast you deliver your photos to your customers, the industry standard is 24 hours, but we recommend striving to deliver to your customers same day. With regards to pricing, pricing for real estate photography will differ significantly based on the market that you're servicing. For example here in Phoenix, Arizona we charge $100 for a property up to 2,000 square feet, which is pretty low when compared to other markets like California where charging over $500 a property is common. In the business model section of the course we'll go more in-depth on how to identify what appropriate pricing will look like in your particular area.
So I'll leave it at that for now. I will mention though that the last thing you want to do is charge less than everybody in your market and be the bargain real estate photography company. If you do so, you will likely be leaving a lot of potential revenue on the table. Your revenue and profitability at the end of the day is what's going to fuel your business forward. So make sure you set appropriate pricing. Alright, that's it for this one. If you guys have any additional questions, feel free to reach out. We'll see you guys on the next one.

In this video I'm gonna show you how you can identify how big of a business opportunity the real estate photography business is in your area. Now to do this you'll want to jump over to Zillow so let's go over to the computer. I have a guest window pulled up here let's go to Zillow.com and then you'll want to type in a city and for this example we're going to go to Austin, Texas which is a middle sized area. And as you can see right now they have 1793 listings in that area which is quite a few. But to find the business opportunity and how many listings are going on the market each and every day you want to go ahead and click on more scroll down to days on Zillow and select one day and hit done.
So now you can see that there are over a hundred listings that were listed in Austin over the last 24 hours which it shows you that there's quite a bit of listings going on even in a small market like this. So there is a lot of opportunity as a real estate photographer to build relationships with these agents that are getting listings to try to earn their business. Now with regards to my business here at Lister Pros we have a multi-million dollar revenue generating business but we're still only servicing a small percentage of the listings in the areas that we serve. This just goes to show you how big the real estate photography business truly is.
You don't necessarily need to dominate your market to find success in this business. There are plenty of real estate agents and plenty of listings that need professional real estate photography. Alright guys that's going to do it for this one. If you guys have any additional questions feel free to reach out. We'll see you guys on the next one.

In this video I'm going to share why I think the real estate photography business is the best photography niche. One of the best things about the real estate photography business is that you get reoccurring business from your existing customers. Customers have a tendency to use you over and over again as long as you're delivering a great customer experience which is definitely different than the portrait or wedding photography business. With the wedding and portrait photography business you're usually only doing one to two sessions on average and that's it for that particular customer. Another reason why the real estate photography niche is so awesome is that you can have a
regular working schedule if you so choose to. You can work Monday through Friday 9 to 5 if you want. Here at Lister Pros we work Monday through Saturday 9am to twilight so depending on the time of the year during the summer times we're going to be working a little bit later than we do in the winter times because the days are longer in the summer. Now the scheduling aspect of real estate photography is definitely different than wedding or portraits where a lot of times you're working long hours on the weekends or after hours when people are not working. Now if you're super passionate about wedding or portrait photography real estate photography
can just be another revenue stream for you if you want to still shoot weddings or portraits on the weekends. Another great thing about the real estate photography business is that your customers often become your best sales force by giving you referrals and helping you grow your business. But this one in my opinion is contingent on your level of service that you deliver to your customers. Alright guys that's going to do it for this video if you guys have any additional questions feel free to reach out. We'll see you guys on the next one.

Guys, that's gonna do it for the opportunity section of the ultimate photographer formula Before moving on to the next section Here is some homework for you to wrap your head around the business opportunity in your particular area What you're gonna do is pull up Zillow and search for your city and then filter by one day You can get a good idea of how much of a business opportunity the real estate photography business is where you live Now if you don't have Zillow in your area You can just look at a common real estate photography search website This will really just show you how many listings are going on the market each and every day in your particular area
Which means business opportunity So make sure to check out the PDF form to help you understand the business opportunity in your area For example, if you pull up your area and there's a hundred new listings going on the market every day and assuming your average Real estate photographer is charging a hundred dollars per shoot Then if you take the hundred shoots times a hundred dollars you get $10,000 every single day from an opportunity and if you multiply that by 365 days in the year you get
3.65 million dollars in potential real estate photography business in your area Now I'm not saying that you're going to get a hundred percent of the business in your area But it's just showing you the opportunity that is there in your area All right guys, that's gonna do it for this one if you guys have any additional questions Feel free to reach out.
