150 - Editing Session - Job Shadow #2 - Paradise Valley (Daytime)

Hey there, in this video, I'm going to take you through my luxury editing process for a daytime luxury shoot. I always try to split up the homes I shoot into daytime and luxury so that the videos are a little bit shorter. For this particular shoot, I used my A7R4, which is a 16-megapixel camera, as the customer doesn't need super high-resolution pictures. In my opinion, 20 megapixels are sufficient for high-res photos in most cases, and we also deliver an MLS version as well. First, I run the ARW files through Adobe DNG Converter to shrink them down to 20 megapixels. This allows me to edit them faster without overtaxing the computer. I prefer using Adobe DNG Converter because it does not compromise the details in the shadows and highlights, unlike other converters. While the files are converting, I load up Lightroom Classic to import the files once it's done. I usually don't like to do too many heavy tasks that take a lot of computer power at the same time, so I wait until the one-by-one previews have loaded completely before starting the editing process. For luxury edits, I always aim for a natural look without boosted or unnatural colors. In this shoot, I shot 279 images, but since I did bracketed shots, I'm not going to edit all of them. I'll only add to the quick collection the ones that I plan on editing right now. As I go through the images, I look for the ones that have the best exposure and the ones that show the interiors and exteriors of the house the best. I also consider layering multiple images to create more complex shots. At the end of the day, my goal is to deliver some awesome-looking photos to my clients, and if I can do that without having to stack multiple shots, the faster the editing process will be. By taking my time to go through the images and carefully selecting the ones to edit, I can ensure that the final product is exactly what the client wants. #luxuryhomes #realestatephotography #daytimeshots #luxuryediting #photographyediting #adobedngconverter #lightroomclassic #photographytips #highresolutionphotos #naturallook #twilightshots #hdrphotography #luxurylifestyle #luxuryliving #homeinteriors #luxuryrealestate #photographyworkflow #quickcollection #interiordesign #luxurydesign #professionalphotography #photographytechniques #luxuryarchitecture #beautifulhomes #luxuryproperty #luxuryhomeforsale #luxuryhomebuyers #luxuryrealtor #luxurylisting #luxuryhomesofinstagram
