In this video, I'm going to talk about Rico tours as a budget-friendly alternative to Matterport. As a real estate business owner, we initially only offered Matterport 3D tours as an option, but we realized that not all clients have the budget for it. That's when we decided to offer Rico tours, a more cost-effective option. The experience is not as immersive as Matterport, but potential buyers can still look around the room as if they were there.
Rico tours take only 10 to 20 minutes for an average-sized home, and we typically do about 10 to 20 scans per model. We pay an annual subscription of $500 for Rico tours, which is much more affordable than our Matterport plan that charges us per model in addition to an annual charge. So, from a business expense standpoint, Rico tours make a lot of sense.
