200 - Leveraging Your Skills

As an entrepreneur, it's important to know and understand your strengths. When you first start your business, you may have to wear multiple hats and do tasks that you're not particularly good at or don't enjoy. But as your business grows and you bring on more people, you can delegate those tasks to others who are strong in those areas. It's crucial to have a team with diverse strengths, skills, and expertise. You don't want to hire people who are exactly like you. Even if you're operating by yourself and don't plan on growing, it's still important to focus on the services or products that you're passionate about. Don't feel like you have to offer everything just because you can. For example, when I started my business, Lister pros, we offered lockbox and sign installation services in addition to media services. However, as time went on, I realized that I wasn't passionate about the inventory management business, so we ultimately got out of it. This allowed us to focus on what we were passionate about and achieve greater long-term success. So, don't be afraid to delegate tasks and focus on what you're good at and what you enjoy. This will help you find more success in the long run. Always remember to play to your strengths and delegate the rest.
