15 - Job Shadow #1 - Two-Story Renovated
15 - Job Shadow #1 - Two-Story Renovatedhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYELJtOnuFwIn this video, I had the pleasure of photographing a stunning 2300 square foot, two-story home that was vacant but beautifully staged. I wanted to share my experience with you, so come along as I take you through the process of setting up and shooting this lovely property.
First things first, I got the lockbox code and entered the home, making sure not to track any dirt inside. As it turned out, the house had been recently remodeled and staged by a fix and flip company or individual. The result was a fresh-looking interior with new appliances, a revamped kitchen, and painted cabinets. Staged homes always make it easier to capture appealing photos and attract potential buyers.
I went around turning on the lights, making a mental note of the consistent color temperature throughout the house. The staging was tasteful, and I loved the modern-looking master bedroom and bathroom. After making sure I had all the lights on and the fans off, I checked out the backyard. It was well-maintained, and I didn't need to do any preparations there.
With everything set up, I began shooting the exterior of the house. For two-story homes like this one, I needed to step back and raise my tripod to capture the whole building without cutting off the top. I took a few shots from different angles, ensuring the neighboring houses didn't distract from the main focus: the beautiful property I was photographing.
Moving inside, I started by capturing a straight-on shot from the front door, showcasing the entrance, stairs, and main living area. The staged rooms offered various angles to work with, so I made sure to capture multiple shots from different viewpoints. It's always better to have more options during the editing process.
The dining room and kitchen area were beautifully staged, and I took several shots to highlight their features. I also captured the remodel work done around the fireplace, as I knew it would be an appealing selling point. In the kitchen, I made sure to show off the new countertops and cabinets, taking both straight-on and corner shots.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience photographing this stunning two-story home. The staging and recent remodeling made it easier to capture appealing photos, and I am confident that these images will attract potential buyers. I hope you enjoyed this journey with me, and I look forward to sharing more of my photography adventures with you!2023-04-06T22:09:25Zhttps://www.youtube.com/embed/qYELJtOnuFwReal Estate Photography Hubhttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/qYELJtOnuFw/hqdefault.jpg0:38:37qYELJtOnuFwhttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/qYELJtOnuFw/default.jpghttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/qYELJtOnuFw/default.jpg480https://i.ytimg.com/vi/qYELJtOnuFw/mqdefault.jpg90False
