52 - Walkthrough Video Shot Types
Are you ready to elevate your real estate walkthrough videos? In this blog post, we're going to cover three different types of shots that we use to showcase homes in the best way possible.
The first shot type is the slider-like shot. This shot involves standing in one position and sliding the camera from left to right or right to left without moving your feet. You can even lean back and slide forward as well. The slider-like shot is perfect for revealing rooms from doorways and showcasing slow-motion shots like water fountains or moving fans.
The second shot type is the panning shot. This is a simple but effective shot where you pan your camera from left to right or right to left without moving your feet. This shot is great for showing the entire room and should take around 10 to 15 seconds to complete. The slower you pan, the better the shot will be.
Finally, the third type of shot is the walking shot. This shot involves walking in any direction with a gimbal while maintaining a steady shot. It's important to walk slowly and bend your knees to prevent bouncing or shaking in the camera. Walking shots are great for revealing rooms and can be used to focus on specific objects like kitchen islands or tables.
To produce a great video, you will need to use a combination of these three shots. Don't be afraid to get creative and experiment with other shot types as well. Remember, the goal is to showcase the home in the best way possible.
