Your business's online reputation is crucial because it's not just what you say about your business, but also what your customers say. That's why it's essential to focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience and getting reviews from your satisfied customers. Online reviews play a critical role in converting potential customers who are on the fence about using your services.
At Lister Pros, we've been focusing on getting reviews from our customers, and currently, we have over 100 Google reviews and over 50 recommendations on Facebook. We've also been accredited by the Better Business Bureau, but it's not recommended when you're just starting because of the cost. However, having a lot of positive reviews will help to build credibility and trust with potential customers.
However, only a small percentage of customers will take the time to leave a review, so it's essential to ask for them. The more you ask, the more you'll receive. It's also crucial to focus on getting more positive reviews so that when an occasional negative review comes through, it won't damage your online reputation significantly.
We've tried various strategies to get customers to leave us Google reviews, such as doing a t-shirt giveaway promotion, which got us 30 Google reviews in a day. We also email our customers individually to ask for reviews and leave them a review first as a nice gesture of reciprocity.
