87 - Aerial Photo Editing Tips & Tricks

In the world of real estate, aerial photography is a great way to showcase a property from a unique perspective. But it's not just about capturing the perfect shot, it's also about how you edit those photos to make them stand out. In this video, we'll be sharing four tips for editing your aerial photos to make them look their best. Tip number one is to set an appropriate aspect ratio. It's important to make sure your aerial photos are delivered in the same aspect ratio as your regular property photos for a consistent and professional look. Many drones shoot at a four by three aspect ratio, but you'll want to crop the photo to a three by two aspect ratio to match your regular property photos. Tip number two is to keep your colors consistent. It's important that the colors of your aerial photos match those of your regular photos to create a seamless experience for potential buyers. Shooting in a DNG or raw format and adjusting the white balance during the editing process can help you achieve this. Tip number three is to draw property lines. This is especially important for vacant lots where it's difficult to know what's actually for sale. Outlining the lot can help potential buyers identify what's for sale, but make sure to refer to accurate lot lines on Google Maps or an app like Land Glide. Tip number four is to center the property. Keeping the property in the center of the frame makes it easy for potential buyers to identify the property that's for sale. This can be achieved during the shooting process, but you can also adjust the crop during the editing process if needed. By following these four tips, you can elevate your aerial photography and deliver a better experience for potential buyers.
