54 - Job Shadow #1 - Gold Canyon
Hey there! Today I'll be taking you on a walkthrough of a 1500 square foot single story home in Gold Canyon, Arizona. I arrived at the house and the agent had already set everything up for the video. I checked a few things before starting, such as adjusting the shutters to be uniform and setting the fans to a low speed.
The home has some beautiful windows and views outside. It's furnished, not super updated, but still a great one to showcase. There were some paper towels on the kitchen counter, but they weren't too distracting so I left them there.
I started with the front of the house, being careful with the angles to avoid shadows. I did a panning shot on the right side of the house, highlighting the mountain view and the cul-de-sac location. I also did a shot walking towards the front door, avoiding our shadows as much as possible.
Moving inside, I adjusted my camera settings to account for the lighting in each room. I started with a slow panning shot of the main living area, diversifying my shots with some slider-like shots and a straight-on shot. I then made my way to the master bedroom, doing a continuous shot from the main area to the bedroom and bathroom. I had to be careful with the mirrors in the bathroom, but I was able to get some great shots of the shower and bathtub.
Finally, I made my way to the laundry room and garage, getting shots of both but not showcasing the regular closets in the master. Overall, it was a successful video shoot and I'm excited to see how it turns out!
