22 - Job Shadow #7 - Gold Canyon (Twilight)

Hey everyone! Today, I'm excited to share with you my experience of doing Twilight photos for a 1500 square foot single-story home in Gold Canyon, Arizona. This home had already been partially set up for aerial photos, aerial video walkthrough video, but we had to go back in and turn off the fans to get some great front shots before Twilight. I had my camera ready to go, and I was using the a seven or four and the 12 to 24 F 2.8 lens. The Sony Bluetooth remote made it easier for me to capture some great shots of the house. The house was up on a hill, so I had to fully extend my tripod to get a good center shot. We then went left to get a better shot of the house, and the white balance was a bit off, but we adjusted it in the editing process. As the sun was setting quickly, we had to keep an eye on the shadows as they were going really far. Moving in closer, I got a nice wider shot of the home, and then focused on the house at 24mm. We got some great shots of the entryway and the Adobe style of the home. We quickly went inside and started with the entry shot before adjusting the interior fans. We went through the rooms quickly as we were on a time crunch, and I got some great shots of the main living areas. I always like to give myself a few more options, so I got some straight-on shots and wide shots that showed the flow of the house. As we moved into the master, we got a shot out the door looking that way, and then down the hall to capture the laundry room off the side. Once we finished inside, we quickly moved outside to get some backyard shots before it got totally Twilight. We already had the front shots, and I got some shots looking out of the windows from inside the house. Overall, it was a fast-paced shoot, but we got some great Twilight photos of the home, and I'm excited to see how they turn out after the editing process.
