Hey guys, in this video, I'm going to show you how to edit and deliver your Matterport 3D floor plans. I have a floor plan that I shot here in Mesa, and before delivering it to the customers, I always like to double check to make sure that the starting point is correct. Matterport provides a lot of tools like start location 3D scans, 360 views, photos, labels, measurements, tagging, highlight reels, and path editing. But usually, I prefer to start at the front door because it gives potential buyers a great experience of the house. You can change the starting point as per your preference. You can also create a highlight reel, but usually, we don't do that because most customers only want to use the Matterport and upload it to MLS. Once I set the starting point, I hit the "X" button, but it shows that there are unpublished changes. So, I need to publish those changes first. Next, I click on the "Exit" button, and now, I am unable to share the floor plan. If I want to invite collaborators like clients, I can do that by clicking on the "Invite Collaborators" button. But first, I have to make the floor plan public. I click on the "Share" button, and then I change the visibility to "Public viewable by anybody." Now, I can copy the link or embed code to share the floor plan with my customers. If my customer wishes to take advantage of additional Matterport features such as labeling rooms, tagging details, appliances, or creating a highlight reel, I ask them to let me know. So, I can add them as collaborators on the model, and they can log in and add details. A customer recently responded and asked to be added as a collaborator. However, the percentage of people who do that is not that big, but some do. If I want to add a floor plan, I click on the "Add Floor Plan" button. As long as I use the Matterport camera, I have the option to buy it. There's also the Matter Pack feature that is not relevant to real estate much. Matterport provides a lot of options like photos, downloading, and updating details. Usually, we have the agent's name and contact information on the floor plan. The name of the model is usually the address, but it's up to you and your customers what they prefer. Matterport also provides statistics and other things. In summary, editing and delivering Matterport floor plans is pretty straightforward. Make sure to double-check the starting point, publish the changes, and make it public before sharing it. Adding a floor plan is also a simple process, and as long as you use the Matterport camera, you have the option to buy it. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to reach out to me.
