In this video, the equipment needed to shoot Matterport 3D floor plans is discussed. While there are various options available, including using a Ricoh 360 camera or an iPhone or iPad, it is recommended to use a Matterport camera as it provides better quality and the opportunity to offer schematic floor plans. The original MC 200 model is recommended over the 4K version, as it takes up less space on the iPad and is more cost-effective. It is noted that using a Matterport camera takes longer as the camera spins around, but it has longer battery life, enabling the user to shoot up to 10 different models on a single charge. A sturdy tripod, such as the Manfrotto 190X, is necessary to prevent accidental tipping while shooting. When using an iPad, a faster device with a minimum of 128 GB storage capacity is recommended, as Matterport models take up a lot of space. It is also advised to charge the Ricoh Theta V in between shoots, as its battery life is not very good. Overall, choosing the right equipment is essential to produce high-quality Matterport models. While there are various options available, it is recommended to use a Matterport camera, a sturdy tripod, and a fast and high-capacity iPad. Following these recommendations will help ensure the best possible results when shooting Matterport 3D floor plans. #Matterport #RicohThetaV #RicohZ1 #iPadPro #Manfrotto #3dFloorPlan #RealEstatePhotography #Equipment #Tripod #Technology #PhotographyTips #CameraGear #PropertyMarketing #VirtualTours #PhotographyEquipment #MatterportCamera #360Camera #iPad #RealEstateMarketing #CameraTips
