Hey there! In this video, I'll be taking you through my process of editing a four Plex from start to finish. It's a fairly long process, but I promise it's worth it in the end. So let's jump right into it!
First things first, I organize all of my raw Sony files into folder number one. From there, I open up the DNG converter and select that folder. I usually compress the files to 2048, which is a great balance between image quality and file size. After the Adobe DNG process is done, I import the DNGs into Lightroom and stack them by capture time.
Once I have my stacked images, I use the Photo Merge HDR function in Lightroom to blend them together. I usually let this process run in the background while I work on other things, as it can take quite some time depending on the number of images.
After the HDR merge process is finished, I go through and eliminate any unnecessary images before starting the editing process. This helps me to streamline my workflow and ensures that I'm not wasting time editing images that won't add much value.
From there, I apply lens correction and straightening to all of my images using a user preset in Lightroom. This helps to give my images a more polished look and saves me time in the long run.
Finally, I go through and edit each image individually, making adjustments to exposure, color, and any other settings as needed. It's a time-consuming process, but the end result is well worth it.
Overall, my process for editing a four Plex involves a lot of organization and attention to detail, but it's the best way to ensure that my images are of the highest quality and will be well-received by my clients.
