When it comes to shooting real estate photos, the format you choose can make a big difference. We prefer shooting in RAW especially in the Adobe ecosystem because it gives us maximum flexibility during editing. Converting RAW files to DNGs lets us keep file sizes manageable without losing the rich detail in shadows and highlights.
If you’re shooting bracketed shots, JPEG might work since you don’t need as much detail. But for white balance control and fine adjustments, RAW is the way to go.
Bottom line? Choose what fits your workflow, but for ultimate editing freedom, RAW wins every time.
