155 - Screen Replacements

In this video, I'm going to be showing you how I do screen replacements for luxury properties. I've already finished editing the house and now it's time to replace the screens. First, I like to create a screen for the property by selecting the best shot of the home and cropping it to a 16 by 9 aspect ratio. This gives me a virtual copy that I can use for all the screen replacements. To begin, I open the first screen and edit it in Photoshop. There's a little lamp in the way, but I'm not aiming for perfection. I just want to create a good result that doesn't look distracting. I move the screen to the corner and adjust the size until it fits nicely. Then I use the eraser tool to remove any excess screen. I repeat this process for all the other screens, making sure to adjust the size and position of the virtual copy to fit each screen. Some screens are a bit challenging, but I just take my time and do the best I can. Once all the screens are replaced, I export the finished photos in full resolution and also create an MLS version. This is usually a straightforward process, but it can be taxing on my computer since I'm working with high resolution images. Overall, screen replacements are a great way to add a premium feel to luxury property photos. It takes some practice to get comfortable with the process, but the results are worth it.
